AVIR ACADEMY
We do not write resources. We engineer 7s.
What We Believe
We don't just prepare students for exams. We build the systems that help them perform at their highest level.
"A student does not deserve a 7 because they worked hard. A student earns a 7 because the system around them was engineered to produce one."
Who We Are For
For Students
Avir Academy is for the student who looks at a 5/B on their mock and refuses to accept it as fixed.
For Parents
Avir Academy is for the parent who is tired of paying for tutors who explain things their child already understood.
For Teachers
Avir Academy is for the teacher who knows their students could be doing better, and is willing to use a system that is more rigorous than their own intuition.
For Schools
Avir Academy is for the school that wants its IB outcomes to be the best in the city, the country, the region — and is honest enough to admit that pride is not a method.

Not For Entertainment Seekers
Avir Academy is not for the student who wants entertainment dressed as learning. We are not Duolingo for IB. We are not gamified. We are honest about the work.
Not For Bargain Hunters
Avir Academy is not for the parent looking for the cheapest option. The cheapest option costs them their child's grade.
Not For Traditional Educators
Avir Academy is not for the teacher who is offended by the suggestion that teaching can be engineered. We respectfully disagree, and we move on.
Not For Passive Learners
Avir Academy requires effort. The system works, but only if you show up and do the reps.

Grade Levels
What We Promise
Average lift of two grade levels.
Not as a marketing slogan. As a measurable, auditable outcome that we publish every year.
If a student starts on a 4, the system is built to take them to a 6. If they start on a 5, to a 7. If they start on a 7, to a 7 with confidence and time to spare.
We will tell you when we miss the target. We will tell you why. We will fix it for the next cohort. This is the contract.
Ten Things We Declare
Outcomes are the product. Resources are the byproduct.
We do not measure ourselves by hours of content created. We measure ourselves by grades earned.
Frameworks beat fluency.
A student who knows the Avir Academy Method will outperform a student who has read three textbooks. We teach how to think about IB, not just what is in IB.
The system, not the teacher, is the unit of value.
A great teacher is a wonderful thing. A great system is a transferable thing. We build the second so that students do not depend on the lottery of the first.
Depth beats breadth.
We are one subject. We will be the best in the world at one subject before we touch a second. Spread thin is a failure mode, not a strategy.
Opinionated is a feature.
We will tell students which evaluation triggers to use, in which order, with which evidence cards. We will not hide behind "it depends." That is not teaching; that is abdication.
AI is a coach, not a calculator.
We use AI to give feedback, to predict grades, to route students to the next-best resource. We do not use it to write essays for them or to replace the work of thinking.
The IA is not a side project.
It is 30% of the grade and we treat it that way. Most resources treat it as an afterthought. We treat it as the centerpiece.
Honest data over comfortable narratives.
We track every student's predicted grade. We share it with them. We do not soften the picture to protect feelings. We trust students to handle the truth and act on it.
The exam is the exam.
We respect it. We do not pretend it is unfair. We do not pretend it is meaningless. We engineer toward it, ruthlessly, because it is the door we are trying to open.
Independence is the test of a system.
A system that depends on a single person is a person, not a system. Avir Academy is built to produce 7/A*s whether or not its founder is in the room. That is the standard. That is the test.
What We Refuse to Do
We will not pad our content with words that add nothing. A 6,000-word page that could have been 600 words is not depth. It is laziness.
We will not promise grades we cannot deliver. We will not market 7s to students for whom 6 is the right outcome. We are honest about effort, ability, and time.
We will not gamify the work. The work is the work. We respect students enough to ask them to do it.
We will not hide behind "every student is different." Of course they are. So is every patient. Doctors still have protocols. So do we.
We will not let our system rot. Every May, every November, we read the examiner reports. Every year, we audit our examples. Every cohort, we measure outcomes. The system either improves or it dies.
We will not become a textbook. We will not become a resource site. We will not become what the incumbents already are. We are something different, and we will stay different.
Why This Matters
A grade is not just a number. A 7 in IB is the difference between the university a student gets into and the one they settle for. It is the difference between a scholarship and a loan. It is the difference between a student who walks into their next chapter believing they are capable, and one who walks in carrying a quiet doubt that they are not.
Education is not abstract. It compounds. The student who learns to think rigorously at 17 thinks rigorously at 27, at 47, at 70. The frameworks they internalise become the frameworks they live by.
So when we say we are engineering 7/A*s, we mean it literally. And we mean it bigger than that. We are engineering the habit of mind that makes a 7/A* inevitable — in this exam, and in every harder exam life will set.
We are not in the resource business. We are in the trajectory business.
Avir Academy.
We do not write resources. We engineer 7/A*s.
